The Kekoa Sunset Sail featuring Stick Figure
So for all of you who have never experienced a Kekoa sunset cruise, it’s truly a must for the bucket list. While we were in St.John, the band Stick Figure was playing at the wedding, and during their time, played in venues around the island. They were sought out by the owner of this boat, who said they are his favorite band and he wants to feature them on a cruise. One thing led to the next, and we had a group of people signed up for a post-wedding sunset cruise. Dave and I happened to wait and wait and wait, for a spot to open up since it was sold out, and they decided they couldn’t leave us two party-goers behind.
Off into the sunset, we sailed around and then anchored into a canyon, we started the night off with Linds and Jesse lighting a cannon.
Stick Figure played for an extra 3 hours, friends and sister dancing and having fun, and phosphorescence illuminated the water around us with the stars beating down from above. It truly was one of the most memorable nights of my life.

Lucidity Festival
Quite the experience. We did not camp but we went there for 2 days in a row. I have to say though, everybody was super positive…
To all you Burlington-ites/ Vermonters/ Woodchucks, it’s definitely our language…

A day drive through the Mojave to Mt. Whitney and back
Talk about a doozy. There’s nothing like 5 hours there, just to turn around and come straight back. But the scenery is unlike anything I’ve seen.

A wonderful little treasure tucked away, has been discovered…
I went with the boys surfing one time at our favorite little spot. I don’t know why, but I never got the film developed until now…
I didn’t know what was in the film when I was getting it developed, but I was very pleased to discover it…

“It’s all time”
The waves were going off at Rincon. Unfortunately, I forgot my lens at home… so these really don’t do anything for my talent, but if you can check out the surfer to wave ratio, you can get a nice idea that some of these waves were at least triple overhead.
It. Was. Nuts.

An Action Packed Trip!
I’ve been visiting home and there in no way has it been boring… which is more preferable for me. Luckily the only snaffoo is that I was unable to bring my camera to the U2 concert at the Meadowlands… and as always… there is more to come.

The long route to Knapps Castle
This place is really a really beautiful destination if you want to escape the chaos of civilization. UNFORTUNATELY… some hooligans are careless enough to go up there and trash the place, by throwing their glass bottles onto the ground where they all shatter. However, if you sit at the amphitheater as we did… you can enjoy the pleasant landscape of the shadows blanketing the California Mountains as the sun is setting.

I love softball, and being a part of a team… and I love the times that we play because the lighting is always beautiful for pictures. It’s just a little hard to catch the ball with the sunset shining into our eyes.
